MANJIT BUMRAH - MANINDER CHANA - JENNA CLARKE - -PHIL HAHN - STEVE HARRISON - CHIMP JONES - CAMERON FINLAYSON

We asked our diverse cast to write a blurb about themselves, rather than go into a truncated bullet list of accomplishments. Unfortunately, this is all they could come up with. But really our team of writers and actors is a talented collection of folks from all walks of life - all of them ready to make you laugh.

	MANJIT BUMRAH	Manjit Bumrah has been a big fan of comedy ever since she realized her parents accents were real and got a crank call asking if she'd checked recently to see if her "bum was raw." Other claims to fame: She participated in the Seoul Olympics for Tae Kwon Do (That's a Korean martial art-just in case you thought it was origami). When she's not busy taking improv classes at the Second City training Centre, Manjit loves to do impressions of her friends, family and co-workers. Manjit also works full-time as a physiotherapist for geriatric rehab where she gets the bulk of her comedic material. Recently she starred in Deepa Mehta's Bollywood/ Hollywood.
	MANINDER CHANA	Maninder is an award winning journalist/writer/actor/director and man about town. His latest film effort, Mohandas & Bette: A Love Story was recently screened at the prestigious World of Comedy Film Festival in Feb of 2004. He is now working on a sci-fi series, as well as a feature film. He's not sure if he'll let any of the nuts help out. Along with his varied writing talents, Maninder brings his musical, television production & direction skills to Mixed Nuts. 	JENNA CLARKE	Jenna Clarke started her slow foray into fame as Mustardseed in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at the age of nine. When she's not playing uptight white people in Mixed Nuts, Jenna can be seen singing by herself in her car on the highway. She also is a student at Second City where they can hopefully teach her to not only being funny in her head. Jenna also aspires to transform Canada's top news show into a singing variety show with tall red-headed leprechauns. She is currently casting for an agent and on the lookout for vintage Three's Company paraphernalia.
	PHIL HAHN	Hahn means 'rooster' in German. Phil Hahn is not German. He's a Japanese-Korean hybrid who is seeking a rooster and a German for a pleasant threeway. Kikeriki! (German for cock-a-doodle-doo). If you're nice to him, he'll do his famous tongue trick for you. His one goal is to develop a laugh as deep as the Dalai Lama's. Phil has also starred in a number of short films and is the most overtly talented, yet underused Asian actor on the globe. Check out Phil's voice in a cool flash movie here.
	STEVE HARRISON	Being the last of five boys isn't funny but getting through it all has been. Steve came to the nuts as our token white man for a variety of skits and the like. When he's not skitting he wears a kilt often for undisclosed reasons and operates his communication business creating & art directing various print and electronic media. In his spare time he's is a active sports human and bandsman He's hoping to be funny in the near future or else, as unfunny white guys are easily replaced.
	RAHNUMA PANTHAKY	Rahnuma recently came off a 5 month run of the Vagina Monologues where she had the opportunity to perform with some pretty fabulous Pussies. Some of her past theater credits include Suburbia, Much Ado About Nothing, Othello, and Last Tango in Transylvania (in NYC). Amongst her film and television credits are Blue Murder for Global Television, CTV's The Associates and recently the Disney movie of the week Tru Confessions. She also has a theatre company (BANG!Productions).
	CHIMP JONES	Chimp comes to us from the jungles of Borneo. Other than making great monkey noises while wearing a Fez hat, we know absolutely nothing about him. Nor do we want to. Nor does he want you to. Nor should you want to. He (she) after all is a monkey trapped inside a man's body. What else is there to know?
	CAMERON FINLAYSON	Cameron is the webmaster for MixedNutsTv.com he is the only non-funny person in our comedy troop however he knows how to program webpages so we like him. Cameron is from Toronto still lives in his parents basement and is a recent graduate of computer camp (Ryerson University E-Commece Program).
